I am so looking forward to this launch, Janis – both because I know from past experience that you are a superb organiser of book launches, and because I want to read that book! That title would make a great movie, too, though I increasingly feel a kinship with the Archaea myself.
Thanks Tim – I hope you’ll wear a mask! Alas, you won’t find Archaea in the book, as I have stuck with Linnaeus’ six classes of animals. I suspect he might have put Archaea into his catch-all Vermes along with shellfish, jellyfish, worms and other soft-bodied creatures. However, some of the animal biscuits may be in the shape of an archaeon, if the last packet I bought is anything to go by. Look forward to seeing you there.

I’m so sorry I’m going to miss it but the latest possible train back home to the Wairarapa is at 6:18! I’m there in spirit and perhaps I’ll wear a mask and eat animal biscuits on the train, just to show my solidarity.
