I was born in South Shields, England and spent some of my childhood in South Africa and Australia before my family settled in Aotearoa New Zealand. I live in Wellington with an historian called Peter, a fluffy cat and many spiders. I have degrees in Botany and Public Management and work in the public service. I write fiction and poetry. My pronouns are she/her.
