I was born in South Shields, England and spent some of my childhood in South Africa and Australia before my family settled in Aotearoa New Zealand. I live in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington with an historian called Peter. I have degrees in Botany and Public Management and work in the public service. I write fiction and poetry. My pronouns are she/her.
